Product Catalog - Categorized & Searchable
Customers can browse your product line by category (i.e coffees, teas, supplies, merchandise, etc.) from a dynamic categorization menu or search by keyword against specific product properties.
Each product links to a detail page that provides a detailed description of the product, available packages and pricing, other products to consider, and (naturally) a purchase option. The detail page also displays any discounts or promotions that may be running for that product along with the regular non-discounted price.
The entire catalog is represented by the dynamic side navigation which pulls the entire catalog hierarchy from your e-beans database and presents your store in an intuitive and comprehensive manner.
Coffee Club - Recurring Orders
The coffee club is one of the most exciting features of e-beans. Customers make selections from your product catalog of the items they'd liked to have shipped to them on a regular basis. Then they specify how often they'd like to receive their shipment and when to schedule the first shipment.
At any point, each club customer can log into their account to make changes to products, quantities, frequency, payment methods, or ship dates. Its a fully self-serviceable feature that doesn't require the assistance of you, the retailer.
The club creates a recurring revenue stream from automated delivery orders that customers are happy to create for the convenience of never worrying about running out of coffee. Their credit card is automatically securely charged via the e-beans coffee club scheduling system and the resulting order is dropped into the Order Queue for processing. There's no need to keep a separate schedule of when club orders are scheduled to ship. Instead, e-beans keeps track of the calendars for each customer and builds the orders on a daily basis.
Club customers receive automated email reminders letting them know that their club order will be shipping soon. This gives them an opportunity to login and make any changes prior to their shipment.
Of the various shopping cart systems on the web today, none of them compare in value and features to the automated coffee club program in e-beans.
My Account - Access by Customers to their Online Account
Anytime a customer purchases something through the shopping cart, they have the option of creating an account with your store/Website. For those that do, they can take advantage of the "My Account" feature of e-beans which allows them to perform a variety of account management functions.
Once they've logged into their account, customers can update their contact information, including adding or modifying shipping locations and payment methods. They can also see and review any of the orders they've placed on your Website and click into each order for more details including tracking information for orders in transit.
Coffee club customers will have an option to click into the details of the club account to make any changes to the items in their recurring order, frequency of their shipments, and next ship date.
Wholesale Registration and Ordering
Are you selling to wholesale customers? Of course you are. Do you wish you could train your wholesale customers to streamline their orders?
We realize that for most of our roasting customers, retail sales are a small part of their business. Most of the roasting is for their wholesale accounts. This is why we created a robust wholesale module within e-beans so that roasters could use all of the same great retail efficiencies for their wholesale orders as well.
Wholesale customers have their own login area to authorize them as a wholesale customer and pull up their account information. Then they're presented with up to three different ways to place an order.
- Browse the product catalog showing them their negotiated pricing
- Create a separate spreadsheet file of product SKUs and quantities and upload their order to the Website
- Review their order history and re-submit a previous order
In addition to support for existing wholesale accounts, e-beans also helps you to grow your wholesale account base by prompting Website visitors to apply for an reseller account. All new inquiries are captured from a form on the front end of the Website then saved to the back end management site for review and follow up.
Online Newsletter
Have some news to share with your customers and fans? The e-beans newsletter feature allows you to create and publish monthly newsletters to your Website.
Whether you wish to publish weekly, monthly, quarterly, or whenever you feel like it, you can create newsletter content that automatically publishes to your Website for your readers to enjoy.
In addition, a digest summary of your newsletter can be automatically emailed to your customers and subscribers that links them back to your Website for the detail of each article.

Each blog post is chronologically saved and sorted on your Website with an area for your readers to post their comments and leave their feedback.
Refer a Friend Incentives
Let your customers be your strongest advocates.
With each purchase, your Website customers are given an opportunity to refer a friend to your Website in trade for discounts on their next order. The discount is designed to incentivize your customers into referring friends they feel would enjoy the same products they purchase on a regular basis.
With each referral, an automated email goes out to their friends inviting them to try your products. When they do, a follow up email goes to your customer to thank them for the referral and offer them a discount on their next order.
This is a great feature for growing your customer base while rewarding your existing customers when they bring you new business. Each referral can potentially mean a new lifelong customer that has yet to find you and will be happy they did.
